I get a lot of cold calls. Everything from data, web agencies, telemarketing firms and so on. But recently I have noticed an increase in companies pitching ‘consultancy’. The most popular form at the moment being Social Media Consultancy.
So I pose a question, how many of you would be happy to pay for Social Media Consultancy and out of those that are, how much would you pay and what would you expect?
For me it’s a tricky one. It must only really apply to type 1 marketing managers as type 2’s will typically be experimenting on the job. I have spent the past 2 years spending quite a bit if time on learning the tricks of the trade and how I can leverage the best return from Social Media. Is the social channel something that you don’t have the time to take on and would like someone to guide you on?
